MSWL: As a suspense/thriller writer, I'm always excited to read compelling, unputdownable stories with fun takes on genre tropes.

In YA, I love locked room or insular settings (boarding school, summer camp, etc), or anything particularly atmospheric. There’s no one particular plot device that pulls me in; I’ll read just about anything that promises a twisty story.

In adult, I’m a huge fan of domestic suspense. I love messy relationships, lies and betrayals, and general misdeeds behind closed doors.

I am not a good fit for anything speculative.

Rachel Rose is a YA writer living in New York City. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Accounting. When she's not writing novels, exploring the city, or begging her cat for affection, Rachel works in finance for a major entertainment corporation.
